Recover XEN Guest Root Password

Have you come across a situation when you need to reset the root password of a XEN virtual box.

Logon Host machine run following command to boot guest OS in single usermode and simply recover root user password as normally we do.

#xm create -c /etc/xen/guest_vm_name extra=1

    Hi !... I know this's an old post, but I need your help. This's for recovery the root pass of a VM on Xen? I need to recovery the root passw for a VM over Xen, I test this: xm crea -c machine_name to boot OS in single usermode (GRUB) but the machine continuing charge the system without showing the GRUB.
